Can you embroider without a hoop?

back stitch embroidery

Why do all the books և teachers always tell us to put in frames? Can't you sew without one?

In short, yes, you can.

But there can be a danger of deflation. The loops are always designed to hold the core fabric in place so that it does not stretch or stretch too much. Because in both cases it makes the tissue look compressed.

Weaving is most convenient when the fabric is attached to a ring or frame pad so that you can work with both hands.

However, if you use an embroidery ring, your wrists may show. After all, it all depends on how strong the fabric feels .

embroidery process

I work in the pages of my embroidery magazine , I do not know what to do ... I like to cut the page first, then embroider.

It was inconvenient to use the ring in such situations, so I did something else.

embroidery backside

Before sewing , I applied a possible binder to the fabric.

to:

  • The fabric remains the same, does not stretch, does not stretch.

  • The "sheets" of the canvas get a little thicker and heavier, which is a better option for the page.

  • This second layer of substrate is often very useful for finishing the thread (you can start the thread from the joint so that nothing is left on the "face" of the boat).

  • This prevents the fabric from rubbing.

difficulty.

  • Just because a fabric stays on does not mean it will not shrink if you pull the thread too hard. To be correct.

  • If you hold the piece too tightly in your fist, it will shrink կլինի it will be difficult to iron. So be beautiful again.

Especially for magazines, I think it would be best to rub the front of a large piece of fabric and then cut it into several pages. But as always I forget and do it in a strange way: D:

PS Happy World Embroidery Day!
