Embroidery doodles
News from Stickzeitung's new page!
I want to put most of my old work in this new paper now and see what comes out of it. Most of them have already found their place on the pages (not literally * above * and "inside" because they are almost at the top of the pages: D) and only 2 people have access.
Today I am ready to show you 3 new sites and you will learn:
And without this name, aupa.
The camouflage matched this dotted line pattern because I saw the same burgundy handles used for them. Then a suitable back piece and various other cuts were found. Fortunately, these parts still had this advantage with a color palette that suited the company very well.
That's why I've been trying to play with collages for a while, and I still love the design.
But then the question arises, how to fill the gap between the fabric patches, because it looks boring without embroidery.
And I'm sure there are many other great options, but suddenly I wanted to draw a small picture with a needle and thread!
It may be influenced by Bullet Magazine. I don't smoke much myself , I like to use paper scraps and stickers. But since I saw a nice layout with fun drafts on Pinterest that made the page more interesting, I thought why not try it here too :)
Below you can see how it turned out (the point of the lace chain is a beautiful point that demands more love and admiration).
For the sake of excitement, for some reason I didn't want to set an example. So I got an old pale pink canvas, patched it with a patterned fabric and sewn a frame there, which I called "wireless" with some shy sketches. It's easy, but I love the results! That ... marshmallow?
Interestingly, I had completely different plans for these two teams. For the camouflage (will it now be officially named?) I wanted to use some fabric strips there and work on the horizontal edges. And for Euphoria, I really wanted to create a kind of collage and repeat the pattern of pink flowers in some patches.
But when you really sit down to create pages, you can't control it!
But here is Ranunculus's new home:
I think it fits very well :)
I used the remaining strips of fabric, spread them on a piece of muslin and sewed with a loose stitch . Then I sewed in the middle of the sheet, both with current stitching, but with a very small and suitable white thread. I tied the rope around the edge, tied a knot in the corner, and then played a bit with the patch ornaments.
I’m actually starting to miss a new project, but I’m trying to build that appetite and drive and I’m currently working on it on a daily basis.
I hope you and your loved ones are safe! Be careful!
