I don't really know how to do all this research because overall I'm very happy with everything I have so I don't have much to say. But I think I'll combine the good ones I've chosen so you can review them if you'd like.
Before launching the products, I wanted to note that the delivery was faster than I expected. The journey from England to Russia took about 2 weeks! Honestly, I thought it would take at least a month.
I also received a bonus: 10% of my next payment (although this is a time limit). it's a good feeling :)
My rule:
- John James Pebble beading needles (10-12) and John James Pebbles embroidery needles (5-10) . I mainly use needles from local stores, they are also Russian-made. So it will be interesting to see the difference. I also found myself more inclined to weave needles with long and short stitches. My current beading needles are a little shorter than John James's, so I'm wondering if I'll feel as comfortable with them.
- Box for DMC magnetic needles . The filling I bought has a different pattern than the one in the store. It doesn't bother me at all, but it's worth considering if you want to buy.I haven't tried yet. I mean, I checked to see if it was a magnet, and it's true, haha. I haven't started using it yet. But I'm looking forward to it. Usually the needles that I use the most I keep in a handkerchief, who knows, maybe they would be more comfortable in a box?
- Vintage DMC embroidery scissors and90mm skirt embroidery scissors . To be honest, I chose them because they are beautiful! I just wanted a little more variety and let my stork scissors rest. And these new ones look better in the photo. By the way, on the DMC scissors website they still look bronze, but I have them black. It doesn't really matter to me, I really like the black ones I bought. But if this is important to you, contact the store and check if the color you need is in stock.
- Adhesives for nonwoven fabrics . This is what I want to try as an alternative to the traditional application methods we recently explored!
- DMC diamond metal wire and DMC lighting effects . Grow my metal fibers! I am already familiar with Diamond yarn, so I chose a new shade. As for the lighting effects, I want to see how they work differently on fabric. When you look at them, they are almost the same: three layers joined together to form a single thread. But their mix is actually very different. Interesting.
- DMC Cotton to Broder 20 Blanc , DMC Perlé Cotton Nr.5. Both of these yarns are different from cotton yarn. Cotton threads are made up of 6 threads, right? But there's a whole thread here.
- Tapestry wool DMC . Then my madness took over, for some reason I was very sure that this, for example, was woolen yarn suitable for embroidering a butterfly. I don't know what prevented me from looking at the photo and seeing that it was a tapestry pen... Or should I read the title more carefully? I just saw "wool" and ran to choose the shades I needed :D. Well, my wool embroidery adventure is back on track. Now I need to decide what to do with the tapestry pen I received. By the way, the rope is beautiful! What surprised me the most was its texture, haha.
Last but not least , SewEasy plastic adhesive frames . This is something I've been wanting to try for a long time, because my work is usually square or rectangular, obviously it would be more convenient to have 4 sides of the frame.
This frame (also called Q-Snaps) holds tension very well and is easy to assemble. You can also adjust and adjust the tension with a little loosening (that's less than a round ring based on 3 days of my use).
Overall, I am very pleased with these photo frames. However I haven't tried it with my stand yet and if they don't work together then that would be the only downside of this frame... My point is that if you want a "rectangular frame" you need a "rectangular frame" "stand" requires the support frame with which you touch the ground. But I don't want to buy it yet, it will be too big for my current location.
