Raised cup stitch tutorial
Today I offer you a new sewing lesson. As for the tutorial itself, I thought it would be nice to see where it can be used so you can see that cranberry branch extension process too :)
In fact, it struck me when I first saw some pictures some time ago. When I tried to study, I failed and after a while I got discouraged, hahaha. Well, I'm not disappointed ... If something goes wrong, I'll postpone it until it's a better time.
The "best time" seems to be yesterday because I stumbled upon this video and the last time I made a mistake was: D
My conversation was wrong! I think this stitch works the same way as the raised button , but it's actually different. So, a little tip before going to the tutorial: see how rings are made!
And I often give you simple tutorials and sewing lessons that you can use as you wish ... At the moment, I was so excited to learn this sewing that I decided to rehearse it while working on small pictures.
So, now you have not only a canned cup lesson, but also a blueberry sprig lesson! :)
I have taken as many photos as possible to make this tutorial as detailed and clear as possible, so the post will be long, you have been warned!
Higher sewing education
So, the first thing I do is write a few branches on the remaining "draft" fabric.
Then I work on the leaves and leaves. I decided not to show it step by step, because today's tutorial is not about it. But I use satin stitching for the back leaves and seams . I don't want to use textured stitches like fly stitches or crayon stitches because the stitches are already pinned ... so I don't want the leaves to print everything: D
Now the fun begins!
How to sew high cups:
Step 1 : Determine the backstitch shape. Make sure your stitches are the same size and not too heavy. I used 2 threads because it was so short. If you want to wear a bigger uniform, consider adding more elbows to make it quicker and easier on your own.
Step 2: Return the sweetie between the two stitches. Pass the sweetie under one of these points, bring the functional thread to the needle and thread the bottom of the stem. This is how they ride their bikes properly.
The more you practice, the sooner you will find it. Now I make this ring with two fingers, just like you point to the reference :)
And then thread the needle.
Step 3: Repeat this process on the outer line of each back seam. And we call this row of rings the "face" of this long cup.
Step 4: Our "ground floor" is ready. Now let's start doing the same thing but in a loop below.
And, depending on the shape and size, you need to work the same way until the number of rings on these few floors is reduced.
And to do this, as shown in the picture above, just avoid the base loop when creating a new one.
My construction was small, so I started jumping "to the second floor" every second.
Step 5 সময় It's time to look like your cup. If you continue to work on new ring planes, they will probably take on the shape of a cone, which is not what we want, right? So let's end here instead.
I did this: I passed the needle under the circle on the opposite side and ...
... just insert the needle into the cup. Do not pull the needle too hard to avoid shape loss.
And here it is!
This is what a typical bowl looks like.
Today we are making blueberries to add more dots to the French seam above the calyx.
Finished branches look like this!
I think it was very good. And I really like the texture ... I think I'm weak for this type of sewing, although I don't often use it in my designs. I still love them and God if they find a way to do this in the future :)
Meanwhile, here is a custom sewing kit that matches the next original look.
However, this lesson can easily be adapted to other fruits and vegetables, even changing their color. I'm sure you will have great ideas! Have fun and expand!
