The easiest DIY pin cushion
Light and fast pin cushion to work with when the clock is ticking or you just have it :)
We learned how the cutter works. It has a zigzag shape that makes the screen very fun and attractive. It does require a bit of sewing and preparation ... and sometimes we just want to skip those parts, right? Well, here's the choice!
This circular cut can be made in just 30 minutes!
What do you want:
- Large round material cut
- About cardboard for the foundation
- A piece of fabric is cut to the same size and shape as the cardboard circle
- What
- needle
- Colored fibers
However, scissors are not used for yarn.
Well, for the 9 cm diameter pins I used 20 cm cut material. The cardboard circle (and twin fabrics) is 6.2 cm in diameter. Serve as the bottom of the pillow so that the cardboard does not look like a round ball, but stays flat on the floor. In most cases, however, the filling goes further over the edges, so to speak, the width of the top is actually larger than the box. Does it make sense?
Basically I want the pen blocks to be a bit wider than the cardboard shape :)
Now let's get started!
Easy guide to DIY pen pad
1) Take a yarn of a suitable color and start cutting the ends of the large circle of fabric at the back. If you find yourself in a dilemma, it's a lazy run to ignore it. You can make the fabric look like an accordion by hanging it on a peg as shown in the picture above.
2) Swipe around the entire circle and go back to where you started.
3) Now that the fabric is folded and shaped like a bag, pull the yarn gently. When you pull the wires, distribute all the wires evenly. Sometimes they collect a lot on one side and it is better to avoid it.
4) Enter the article in the form. See how full and spongy it is and make sure you add more. Then insert the cardboard and continue to pull the wire.
5) Now you can glue the fabric if you want. But since we make a very simple cut with no extra tools, and we also hold the yarn in one hand and pull it out with the other hand, I will show you how to do it all with just one thread.
6) Pull as many wires as possible, cover or cover the cardboard, then glue the ends together. It's simple, just hit one side, hit the opposite side, pull the wire, then take a step in one direction, hit one side, and so on. Tie opposite sides until all cranes are fastened. And do not forget to protect your wires! Make two small stitches before cutting off the tips of the elbows.
7) Now take a small circle of fabric and place it under the staple and throw it away. Here I used herringbone knitting .
8) The final appearance of the needles under the pillow and ...
... in :)
Yes, very easy!
You can use it. Since the bottom is flat, you can put it on your table and it can not turn. I prefer to put it in a small porcelain candle holder. Such a pillow can also be used for cups, jewelry, delicious cream, etc. :)
