What's up?
Hi everybody! A long time ago!
Sorry I left this blog suddenly. It was very unplanned and I hope to be back as soon as possible, so I'm not making any official statements about where I have been and what happened. The break, however, lasted longer than expected...
Nevertheless with pleasure again! I miss this place and all the wonderful people who read my posts :) Thank you for your understanding and patience!
So what really happened?
This may sound silly, but in October I chose something I really took it seriously. This is an intensive course with daily classes for several hours. And first, I (just) managed to juggle two things: this blog and studies. I've even achieved great blogging and embroidery goals! But in the end I felt bored.
See, I'm working on missions continuously. I can't even work on two embroidery projects at the same time because my mind gets easily overwhelmed.
So towards the end of 2020 I had a kind of crisis where it was hard to focus on anything. I love learning because I want to stay grounded from the start. I knew myself otherwise I would be left behind and if it was too far to catch up I would give up. And I don't want to give up.
Of course, there are other reasons that make me lose motivation. But in general it increases the state of fatigue.
However, I slowly continued to embroider.
I've decided to give myself some space and enjoy embroidery as much as I feel comfortable. No procrastination, no stress, just me and my needle and thread.
If you follow my Instagram, you might notice a slight change in my style!
I suddenly found so much joy in working with gold metal threads! I used DMC diamonds for all of these pieces and the way they sparkle in the sun and artificial lights is absolutely magical! I guess I need a little splatter at this point and thankfully I'm so grateful I was able to sew something like this.
The matching crescent moon is readily available as a pattern with step by step instructions in my shop, but may wait a few more days while I prepare vouchers for my customers :)
Anyway, I just want to thank those who have been on this blog. With my inactivity, I wish this blog would go blank, and it's disconcerting that so many people are still browsing it. Thank you very much!
I can't promise my posts will be as frequent as before, but I'm willing to try and get back to a fairly regular schedule, God willing.
How are you at the moment How are you living I wish you all health and safety!
