April Round-Up
May has already begun, which means it is time to remember what happened at Stitch Floral last month!
In fact, I started traveling in mid-April, so packing and packing and getting used to a new location was a bit of a challenge for me. Sorry, I'm trying to quote everything I intend to write this month!
Still, I still have news for you! Especially if you are a French sewing woman!
Visit the Letemsdebroder website where you can find handmade designs translated into French and I am honored to have my latest jewelry series!
Watch Amber PDF tutorial in French . The content of the document, including all embroidery lessons, designs and instructions, remains the same! It will soon be rhodochrosite.
If you want to know more about the jewelry series, I have explained it in detail in this article , so be sure to check it out. Here are my latest hand embroidered designs with dozens of photos step by step focusing on long and short points :)
By the way, you can find my " portrait" in LetemdeSdebrodder's a little bit of a good conversation about where I got my inspiration from my favorite techniques and designs. All in French, of course!
April results
Speaking of inspiration, last month was a big topic for Stitch Flower. I've been asked questions about this before on Instagram, so I thought I'd give you more details here. So two posts were created - I draw inspiration and 6 things in front of the creator .
It is very difficult to explain how and when inspiration and ideas come to you, because in most cases it happens suddenly and when you do not expect it. But I do understand that you can really "eat" and create a platform for an idea to come out. In my case, I sometimes go for a visual marathon .
There are other tips that I can use to motivate you when interacting with the creative block I described in my second article . However, in my opinion the most important thing is not to press and maintain a positive attitude. Even though it is a word, draw something, study the work you love and make it fun, you know, some kind of wise thinking. And if there is no time limit, feed your motivation in a way that suits you and do not worry. But be prepared, this might be when you wash clothes or wash your pet.
As for the new points, we started working with the button hole in two common ways in April ... and I left it there haha because I was a little busy. Well, this month's mission is to learn as much as we can about this point and technique, because it is appropriate to add it to your embroidery and it is worth more coverage. So, the bottom line is that we are really looking forward to the May special cycle.
For May plans
My personal goal is to complete the new embroidery design. The preparation is done, the model is ready, the colors are selected, the instructions are left to work and create. By the way, very colorful! This is probably the most colorful embroidery I have ever made, I can't wait to see how it looks on the fabric :)
Then I want to take a closer look at the tear cycle: learn how to use it in informal shapes, how to work with some of the variables, and also learn the "real" tear cycle. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.
I hope to have more issues this month, but I do not want to continue if I have not yet received the full program.
I hope you enjoy it wherever you are! Goodbye!
