Are you ready for Spring? Wild rose brooch coming soon!
Can you tell me what I've been up to at Stumpwork lately?
You would think it started with Hortensia, but my interest in stump work is quite old. This has always been one of my favorite hand embroidery trends and I want to improve on it :)
While waiting for a baby, what do we do?
So here's your head!
I'm working on a short video course to teach you how to make a brooch:
I'm a bit crazier about this brooch to be honest. So I had a picture in mind when I planned it, but the way it turned out, it's very beautiful and precious :d
Why this pin:
First, spring and flowering, especially rose hips, oh... just in the mood!
Second, I think it's a great gift! To be honest I'm literally torn right now between keeping this brooch for myself or giving it to my aunt or a friend... I think I need to do more :D
You are aware:
- Find out about the materials and tools needed;
- Learn to sew for this project;
- Divide the tutorial into several sections to make it easier for you
In all video formats for better understanding.
Making this brooch is easier than you think!
It's beginner friendly, so it shouldn't be too difficult if you're new to embroidery. If you're having trouble, I'll also give you some options to simplify the project.
I hope you are as excited as I am!
be in class! :)
