Freebies: 3 PDF patterns
For those who love Christmas gifts :)
A few days ago I asked my Instagram account to send me a sample of this plant and some of you agreed!
But surprise surprise! In fact, there are 3 models instead of 1.
The fact is that I planted this plant some time ago, in 2017. At first, I wanted to work on 3 models and submit them as a tutorial on the Etsy store. But something went wrong. After finishing the first one, it turned out that I'm working on the second one... I didn't really like it, but I was too lazy to edit it again, because I didn't feel it anymore. As for the third, I didn't touch my interest and the spark was completely gone.
Very changeable, right?
Well, I have nothing to say in my defense, haha. I'm sorry or not.
I remember back then I was trying to see how all green plants smile and he really didn't give a damn about this trend... I think it's a good lesson that you can't see it unless you're honestly blind investing :)
Anyway, as a result of this whole story, I have 3 models on my computer, I would rather share your work here than scatter them in my files. The "green" trend is still strong, so if you like this theme, you can use these patterns for some fun sewing!
Below is a link to download an example and see how it works now.
sewing tips
So, if you need instructions and tips, I will tell you how to edit one of the plants. But you can use the points you want for the models! Let your imagination run wild :)
I worked on the farmroot seam with 2 strands of silk thread and a middle seam so that the twist effect was the same ;)
I used satin dots for these little triangles. I first worked out the split seam pattern, then filled the figures with parallel dots with a thread. The molds are very small and after inflating the pillows look very nice after the work of satin stitches, haha.
Among the small triangles, like a nesting doll, I used 3 empty dots with each other at each stop. Then draw a simple zigzag to add a darker color to the triangles. I call it a zigzag, but that's not really the name of a stitch, it's the only way I worked out the right stitches. Nothing too complicated.
And then I filled in the gap between the edges of the pearl dots with the same color as the outline.
All sheets are processed in a 2-thread seam.
The veins of some leaves can be woven into the root seam (or contour seam, in my case).
That's almost all. Using the same points for the same elements, I worked on another plant model in the same way. As for the third model, which consists of different plants - I didn't plan anything before throwing it away, so let me decide for you ;)
