Golden Henna: new embroidery design is already out!
Today I have good news :)
My favorite "Golden Henna" design is now on sale and ready to buy! Take a look at the Etsy shop .
This design was inspired by Zentangle and Hina art, which I was very interested in at the beginning of January.
I bought an illustrated book and tried to create some drawings and patterns following the online tutorials. It was a very useful and relaxing exercise.
To be honest, I initially wanted to make a very simple design, suitable for beginners from the first steps. And maybe you can do it with just 1 colored thread. But when I developed and listed some ideas and destroyed others, it just happened. I decided to go with a gold color (not a metallic thread, but a cotton thread close to gold) and a pink outfit. And I think it was good!
The color palette is so fun and all the glitter gives you energy for the whole day!
For beginners, it may seem a bit difficult due to the large number of long and short stitches (I can't resist haha), but I think it's a good experience to improve your skills. Also, you have the complete process of creating one of the Youtube patches !
And of course, as always, it turns out a lot of step-by-step photos :)
This flower also reminds me of some rabbit ornaments. There is a cellular grid, long and short stitches, openwork grid, lazy chamomile, etc.
This difference made me especially happy when I was working on this embroidery design. I have a lot of complaints and can't use a lot of my favorite techniques in my projects because most of them fall into the needle stain category. Finally, I can express my gratitude for these points in this project!
However, this design has its own feel and features (and materials) and is ultimately different from brutality. Personally, I associate it more with twinkling and henna.
Here you will find elements reminiscent of precious stones and costume jewelry chains, which together with the gold color highlight the beauty and elegance of this design.
At the moment this flower is a design in itself, but I definitely like the use of different techniques and the strong and vibrant spirit of the final result. So I'm sure you're looking forward to expanding your models. But slowly!
I hope the Stitch Floral Model family liked the addition :) Leave your feedback in the comments!
