#HibiscusChallenge starts on Wednesday
I hope you are ready to have a lot of fun sewing in the coming weeks :)
The hibiscus pattern is ready and I have prepared many drawings for you step by step. Let's test ourselves, practice our hand embroidery skills and work on this project with summer enthusiasm!
How will this challenge work?
1. Get a pattern.
It has already been sent to customers. So, if you sign up for Stitch Floral, check your inbox.
If you are not registered yet, you can do it here . See the welcome message for details on the Stitch Flower Resources page, which is also home to this pattern.
2. Check out Stitch Floral every Wednesday for a new section of the Guide. This is the program:
Wednesday, 08:04: Hibiscus flowers
Wednesday, April 15: Hibiscus leaves + upper twig
Wednesday 22/4: palm fronds + monstera
3. Post the work in progress (in progress) data on Instagram with the hashtag #hibiscuschallenge or email it to my email address on aminakdesigns [@] hotmail.com.
The essence of Stitch Along is to work on this task at the same time, supporting and helping each other :)
Notes:
- Usually it works in one thread, some elements in two threads.
- The most challenging and time-consuming part of this project is the hibiscus flower, and here we will start.
- Then the sheets can be removed easily and you will have a nice cold spot that can be finished in a day.
- The palm leaves will be a little stiffer, but they will still look good.
- Monstera again has longer and shorter stitches, but no shadows and only works vertically.
- Don't worry if you can't finish Part 1 in a week! As mentioned above, the next part is pretty cool, so you'll have enough time to catch up. Continue at your own pace!
- And feel free to ask me! The purpose of this challenge is to practice, learn and improve.
- If you have Instagram, maybe I can respond faster.
Just this! Leave your comments below if you have any questions :)
Let's enjoy this project together!
