The best way to master and improve any skill is to practice it over and over again. There is such a thing.
The best way to master and improve any skill is to practice it over and over again. There is such a thing.
Books և Theoretical knowledge can take you just as far. Sometimes you can find yourself in a situation where you can see in your mind what your seam should look like, you can clearly imagine how you are going to put the seams on the fabric ... but when it comes to the real result, then sewing it was not what you imagined.
So I decided to focus on the exercises and make the most of your free time .
Each exercise is suitable for a day's work. Of course, if you want to spend more time on your exercises, you can do a few things a day or work some of them in different colors two or three times until you become fully confident.
There are some kind of arguments you can see here. I will publish it gradually so that you can better understand what exactly you are doing and what we naturally want to achieve at this particular moment. But in short, they go from the basic to the most complex, but that's not all. Learn to work with 5 colors of your shade, different directions of sewing, several rows of solid colors, add extra details և create a hazy look like a dress made of fur or bird feathers .
And in terms of complexity it is not strict. In fact, in order not to overwhelm yourself, jump up and down to have moments when you can relax and unwind.
The most important thing I will be with you is to work at all sizes. You will see the whole process where I sewed each figure with comments և tips.
If there is anything better than an exercise, it is definitely a guided exercise where you can see, learn, and repeat knowing what you are doing.
After doing all these exercises, the final design will be a cake for you. But these days it is a different story :)
