New embroidery journal pages: digging into my stash

My new embroidery diary is also at the top of a few pages! Please :)

The last time I told you to start my new blog (and I even gave you a tutorial on how to prepare the pages ), it has grown quite a lot.

In fact, it will obviously be bigger than my first embroidery journal . I only had 5 double pages and I'm working on a fourth cloud double page and have done a lot in the past.

So far, I've useda pumpkin sample on this site:

I sewed it on a dark gray page, I think it's some kind of applique. And in the end he turned around with the model for no reason. I just think it makes the site calmer and more interesting :)

By the way, this design is free! All the details in the link above.

And this is the next double page.

On the left is another free design that I have been working on for a long time, but I was only 80% happy with it, so it stayed with me for a long time. Now here is a new and comfortable house and I think it is beautiful :)

You can find this model here .

The case is a kind of collage that I made for fun. I finally found a way to use some of my clothes that have stuck with me since I was in Patchwork!

And here's a full page of parts! It's a lot of fun, I swear.

Usually when you embroider and then cut the last piece according to the hoop or glue where you want to store it, there is a lot of leftover fabric.

Honestly, I recently started saving them with the prediction that they might someday be saved. And that's exactly what happened. I have now found a way to create journal pages with them!

For this site I used the remaining pieces of fabric from my embroidery project, you can see the patchwork with pieces of green fabric and squares. All the scraps were put together in a loose piece of muslin and sewn with horizontal rows of running nets .

And then I decorated a small wild plant there with a strand of fur, which I found in my mother's aquarium :)

It may not be very clear, but presumably it is a Yaro plant: d

So it's still an embroidery journal adventure. Can't wait for the new pages to arrive!
Stay safe wherever you are :)
