It's weird how the world works. I recently thought of decorating some fabric collages with decorative dots; you know, using only the pieces of fabric I have and practicing some skills and techniques to combine dots and colors. And then Katie wrote to me and shared her new book. Fully finished gemstones! What an unusual experience!

So today I want to introduce you to a new sewing book about Katie Simon Shaw's crazy skills .

While its main purpose is to help the crazy queer, I am sure many points will benefit women. There are many ways to implement book ideas in embroidery: you can create repetitive patterns from these embroideries, create decorative edges in your work or use them in a fabric collage like I do one day.

Besides, this book does not pay much attention to crazy fry. More or less (crazy beginner quilts realize there is only one "back" to this craft) is the focus on embroidery.

What I like most about this book is that it is very organized, practical and informative. Of course, you can feel the impact of Kathy's teaching experience on the structure and content of the book. He replied that I had a question. When I thought I would prefer photos with illustrations here, I realized. When I think about it, "Oh, well, but the most important thing is the materials." Unusual.

One of the joys of "Wonderful Sewing" is the gallery where you make colorful dots and take pictures! I enjoyed reading these pages and finding my favorite points (p. 59).

By the way, the dots are not limited to the material as yarn, they also use ribbons, beads, dots, buttons and other interesting things. Such elements are also variable in their nodes. For example, if you see French notes in the diagram, you can switch to copy and vice versa. Basically, I mean the number 480 is not even the end. You can save your embroidery and costume combinations, and Kathy will also give you tips on how to do it yourself.
