Your soul is an ocean of thousands waves
Here is the new issue of the Blue Journal.
I had a lot of fun working on it, I enjoyed experimenting with the app (although there are things that can be done better). :D:
The ocean/wave/water theme was one of the first things I had to do for this magazine . And you know, I'm still not over it. I think there are more ways to solve this problem.
On the left is a fictional phrase that suddenly appeared while I was thinking of the idea.
In fact, I really like it... It's a good reminder that all humans are complex animals, mood swings are a normal phenomenon, tastes and interests can change, that a human grows and changes.
The words were first marked on a large piece of fabric, then cut into smaller pieces and attached to the background fabric. Then sew in two layers. And something like that turns into a frown.
So don't mention me և for everyone who wants to do something like this. It is better to sew the words on a separate piece of fabric, only then cut, better on the background fabric.
The regularity of the wave was improved by painting the fabric. However, the cream background texture is crepe. I've never used anything like this in hand embroidery, but I have quite a bit of stock from theera of ribbon embroidery .
Once again, I'm glad I was able to use my scraps of paper in the newspaper.
For the next issue, I've broken up the botanical or royal Chinese pattern of Copenhagen in shades of blue. :)
