May Blossoms Stitch Along: Part 3

hand embroidery step by step

I haven't seen it for a long time! Sorry part 3 took a while - life just happened!

Anyway, let's pick up where we left off, shall we? :)

The part of the day is not difficult and should not take long. However, pay attention to color changes and transitions (unless you prefer a free style with your colors, that is of course also possible!).

Today we need stitches: outline stitch , daisy stitch, long and short stitch and french knot . Find all points in the library .

Basically, today we are going to complete the leaf part of the picture and just let the last flower be drawn.

Part 2

1. Let's start sewing the sticks from below. They should be a little thicker, so it would be good to work two rows in each contour seam. Use 1 strand H and add lazy chrysanthemum stitches where pattern is required.

2. The stem continues and branches into two buds. Let's play with color here, give the left button an I -colored body and the right button the same color H. We're still using dental floss to do the outline.

3. When the stems are finished, the buttons work together like we did in part 1 of the stitch.

4. Now let's use the leaf on the right side of the stem. Take the H wire and only work the underside of the paper at first. In such cases I think it makes sense to work the contours in the contour seam and then add long and short seams to fill the area inside.

5.6. Take the K string and add two rows to the outline stitch at the top of the paper. Then take the first string and fill in the rest of the paper (again, you may find it easier if you work on a plan first).

7. My apologies for the blue colors in the next two photos - I didn't feel how much the sun really sets (I usually prefer natural light when taking photos). These two leaves are at the top of the lower flower. The left thread is made from top to bottom with a single thread using colors K, J and H , long and short stitching techniques. Notice that the color K covers the following contours. The other two colors lie within this contour.

The crest on the right is made of H -grip, which is a continuous and short stitching technique.

9. Now the last branch of leaves is on the left side of the picture. Starting with 1 thread H thread from the root of the branch, sew the outline. Come to the center of the torso.

10. Let's work on the left side. First draw the contours, and then fill in the long and short seams from top to bottom with colors K, J and I, respectively .

11. Take the first color and continue the wire, connecting the other side.

12, 13. So the top sheet works the same, but with the J and H colors. I didn't use the outline because I was sure I could do it anyway. But you can do the contour as long as you are more comfortable.

14. The last leaf is worked entirely on the H wire (note that it hangs upside down on the branch, in which case I usually bend the loop in my hand to make the top element on the bottom tier). Don't forget to add some French knots in E yarn to complete the branch!

It's all for today's game! Only the last flower remains and the pattern is complete! :)
